Emmanuel Leroy is EVP, Chief Product and Technology Officer, in charge of industry strategy, partnerships, product management, go-to-market, innovation and R&D. He joined ESI Group in April 2020 as EVP Industry Solutions in charge of industry strategy and GtM and in 2021 his scope was extended to product management and innovation. Mid-2022, he was appointed head of both Product and R&D organizations (CP&TO). Over the last decade prior to ESI, Emmanuel held different positions of increasing responsibility in the automotive industry, with strong focus on the CAE domain. At Gestamp, after starting in 2012 as CAE/product team leader, he became Manager of the Paris R&D center in 2014, focusing on vehicle design to cost/manufacturing, light-weighting and safety through BIW co-development. Emmanuel then expanded this successful approach, based on advanced CAE activities, globally (Europe, Japan, India, USA, and China). In 2017, he was appointed Global Co-development Director. Emmanuel graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique and from the Ecole des Mines de Paris with a double MSc. in mechanical engineering and materials sciences.
